    Gauged N=2 Supergravity and Its Stringy Origin



    Abstract


    In this talk, some geometrical properties of N=2 supergravity in four dimensions will be presented. First, we discuss the multiplets of N=2 supergravity and its scalar geometry which is the product of two distinct manifold, i.e. special Kaehler and quaternionic Kaehler manifolds. The transition from ungauged to gauged theory which implies the appearing of the scalar potential and the mass-like terms of fermions will also be considered. Finally, we investigate the relation between ten dimensional string theory and four dimensional N=2 supergravity .
